Bogmalo beach, a broad and open beach is adjacent to Vasco. This beach offers tranquility and vibrancy at the same time. Earlier a fishing village, its ambience got transformed as the tourists started frequenting it. Bogmalo beach is not crowded like Aguna beach. Swimming can be pursued at the Bogmalo beach as the water is calm, clean and thus safe. The small huts made up of red bricks enhance the picturesque beauty of the green coconut canopies.Several eating joints lined up on the beach are famous for authenic seafood.
Numerous water sport activitieslike parasailing and surfing can be experimented at the beach. The Naval Aviation Musuem located near the Bogmalo beach is worth visiting.
Diving at Bogmalo Beach Goa
A small dive school recently opened up in Bogmalo and is one of the few places in India where one can do PADI-approved Open water diving courses. Operating out of Joet's guesthouse, at the far end of the beach, the British run outift also offers half day "Try Dives" for novices, guided dives to shipwreck sites and coral beds off the coast and tuition for more advanced qualifications.
How to reach Bogmalo Beach Goa
By Road Bogmalo can be reached by bus or taxi from Vasco da Gama, 8-km northwest. It's also near enough to the airport.
