Due to its proximity to the Arabian Sea, Goa experiences a tropical climate which remains pleasant through out the year. The most ideal time to visit the beach paradise is during the months of October to March. Temperature shoots up in May, the hottest and the humid month with temperature rising up to mid-30s (Celsius).

The monsoon season starts from June and lasts through September bringing relief from the humidity. The monsoon season is characterized by heavy downpour. Winter season starts from November and continues till March. It is characterized by soothing temperature.
