Music and Dance

The Goa Kala AcademyEstablished in 1969, the Goa Kala Academy is a prominent institution that plays a crucial role in promoting and nurturing the music talents as well as the the artistic traditions in the state. The 27 folk-dance forms of the state identified by the academy has contributed in enhancing the musical traditions of the state. The complex has an open air auditorium, a closed air-conditioned theatre, the famous Dinanath Mangeshkar Auditorium, a music library and several other faetures.
